Spalding United FC have completed the signing of former England U21 and Reading FC defender Liam Moore.

Moore started his career with Leicester City in the Premier League and had loan spells at Bradford, Brentford and Bristol City before joining Reading in 2016, going on to make 234 appearances and captaining the Berkshire side.

The 6ft 1in defender made a number of appearances for Northampton Town last season and joins the squad in time for this weekend’s fixture at Stratford Town.
